Founded in 1984 by a surgeon at Butterworth Hospital, Mar-Med Company is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan along the development corridor known as the "Medical Mile." Over those subsequent years, Mar-Med Co. has grown from a tiny startup into a company with customers and sales around the world. Using our first-hand knowledge of the medical profession and health care industry, Mar-Med Co. prides itself on our ability to address the needs of our customers and our dedication to health care.

| The “Medical Mile” in Grand Rapids now serves as the home to prominent health science facilities like the Van Andel Institute, Spectrum Health’s Butterworth Hospital, the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, the Meijer Heart Center, and Michigan State University medical school's new Secchia Center. Our proximity to these institutions allows us to learn and grow from some of the most advanced medical and research institutions in the country. |
